Introduction to the construction of a house. Instruction includes building layout; floor, wall and the roof framing; application of existing building codes and wood stair layout and framing. Construction of large scale models of typical one-story, two story and split level houses are explored.

RECE000665 This course provides the student with a blueprint to correctly market your properties and yourself. It covers recent changes in the real estate licensing act that affect advertising. It addresses all forms of advertising: Newspaper, Radio, TV, Social Media, Internet, and Web Sites. Fair Housing issues are also discussed. This is an interactive course made possible through the use of a audience response system that enables the student to participate throughout the program. |

Completion of this course serves 2 for 1. Students will receive 3.5 hours of CE and they will meet the 2.5 hour NAR Cycle 3 requirement of Ethics training that must be taken prior to the end of 2012. The new code which was adopted in January of 2011 will be covered as well as Social Media Issues in regards to Ethics.
